What ingredients do you need for Thai ground pork with noodles?

  • Vegetable Oil
  • Sesame Oil
  • Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Soy Sauce
  • Fish Sauce
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Ground Pork
  • Package Ramen or Lo Mein Noodles
  • Green Onions
  • Red peppers
  • Cilantro
  • Sriracha Hot Sauce or Thai Chili Paste

Thai Ground Pork With Noodles

The Recipe

Heat a large sauté pan with the vegetable oil. When really hot add the diced onions and sauté until translucent. Then add the ginger and garlic and continue to cook for 2 minutes. Add the pork and cook thoroughly.

While cooking mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, and vinegar  When the pork is cooked through add this to the pan.  Now add the peppers, green onions, and hot sauce. Stir together and taste for seasoning and spice level.

Bring a large pot filled with water to boil and cook the noodles to al dente. Add the cooked noodles to the pork and toss. Finish with fresh cilantro.

Recipe Tips:

  • If you would like your noodles spiced, add chili or hot sauce to taste. I like to keep sriracha on the table to add their own spiciness.
  • You can also add other vegetables such as carrots or cabbage.

Make Ahead:
  • You can make this recipe ahead and reheat, I would just suggest adding the cilantro when serving so it is fresh.

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 package ramen or lo mein noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 red peppers, julienned
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Sriracha hot sauce or thai chili paste
