Chai Tea

Black tea with a mixture of aromatic spices and milk for a sweet beverage served hot or cold.

Masala Chai has been made in India for thousands of years. Both hot and cold with a mix of spices.  It wasn’t until the British set up tea farms in the early 1900s that tea was added and it became a caffeinated beverage. It is now made all over the world and enjoyed by so many people. I love that the recipe can be adapted to include many spices depending on what you like best.
