Thai Ground Pork With Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 package ramen or lo mein noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 red peppers, julienned
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Sriracha hot sauce or thai chili paste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large sauté pan with the vegetable oil. When really hot add the diced onions and sauté until translucent. Then add the ginger and garlic and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the pork and cook thoroughly.
  3. While cooking mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, and vinegar  When the pork is cooked through add this to the pan.
  4. Now add the peppers, green onions, and hot sauce. Stir together and taste for seasoning and spice level.
  5. Bring a large pot filled with water to boil and cook the noodles to al dente.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pork and toss.
  7. Finish with fresh cilantro.
