Plum Brandy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh plums
  • 1 gallon vodka or moonshine
  • 2  cups sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole star anise

Instructions

  1. Quarter plums, remove pits, and place in a glass container that is large enough to hold the gallon of alcohol.
  2. Add alcohol, sugar, cinnamon, and star anise.
  3. Place the container in the refrigerator for 2 weeks to marinate. Mixture will become a lovely fuchsia color.
  4. Remove plums and enjoy!
