Mint Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 5 black tea bags
  • 1/4 -1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup picked fresh mint leaves
  • 1 quart water
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint, garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil and pour over tea bags and mint leaves in a heat resistant 1 gallon pitcher.
  2. Let the tea bags steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and mint using a set of tongs.
  4. Add the sugar and stir until melted into tea.
  5. Fill the pitcher to the top with Ice and place in the refrigerator.
  6. Garnish with lemon and fresh mint.
