Candied Bacon and All Natural Peanut Butter Panini

Sweet and crunchy candied brown sugar bacon and all natural Old Home crunchy peanut butter with honey.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick cut bacon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • Black pepper
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 container Old home natural crunchy peanut butter
  • ½ cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lay out thick cut bacon on a rack with a lined sheet pan underneath.
  3. Sprinkle bacon with brown sugar. Do not be shy with the sugar, you want to pile it up a little.
  4. Next sprinkle with black pepper and then bake in the oven until crispy. Take out of the oven when cooked and let cool.
  5. Cut the baguette into 5 inch lengths and then cut each piece in half.
  6. Spread Old Home all natural peanut butter on one side and top with 4 slices of candied bacon.
  7. Drizzle with honey and put the two sides together.
  8. Place the sandwich on a panini maker and close the lid. Let cook for approximately 4 minutes. Or until crispy and melty inside.
